“The 2020 elections will be a stark choice between Democrats’ radical socialist agenda and the Republican agenda of freedom, security and prosperity,” said NYGOP Chairman Langworthy. “Liz is a true patriot who represents the values of Upstate New York and unapologetically fights for a strong America. Paul Tonko has become a part of the do-nothing Democrats who only care about their own political power. He has failed to deliver results and it’s time to replace him with a strong, smart and fearless leader. Liz has my full support and I look forward to helping elect her as NY-20’s next congresswoman.”
“I’m incredibly grateful for the support of our New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy,” said Liz Joy. “I stepped forward to run because I was deeply concerned about the direction Paul Tonko and his radical Democrat Party are taking our nation. We are a patriotic military family who believe deeply in the promise of America. Those promises are being threatened, and while Paul Tonko and the do-nothing Democrats focus on protecting their own power, I will fight to protect America’s freedoms, security and prosperity.”
Liz Joy was born and raised in Upstate New York. She is a veteran’s wife who lived on military bases across the country while her husband served in Active Duty Medical Corps.
