Statement from NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy on
Schumer and Gillibrand’s “No” Vote on USMCA
January 16, 2020, New York, NY… “Senators Schumer and Gillibrand have become such inside-the-beltway radicals that they just voted to hurt the people they are supposed to represent. Their ‘no’ vote on the bipartisan USMCA trade deal is an unfathomable slap in the face to New Yorkers who will receive historic economic benefit to New York’s critical agriculture and manufacturing industries, impacting more than 800,000 jobs and $23 million in exports to Canada and Mexico. New Yorkers should never forget this dereliction of duty.”
