NYGOP CHAIRMAN LANGWORTHY ENDORSES ANDREW GARBARINO FOR CONGRESS
Andrew Garbarino is Exactly the Leader Long Island Needs Fighting for Taxpayers in Washington
New York–February 6th…New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy today endorsed Assemblyman Andrew Garbarino, the Party’s official designee, in New York’s 2nd Congressional District. Garbarino is running in an open seat to replace retiring Congressman Pete King.
“Andrew Garbarino is exactly the leader Long Island needs fighting for taxpayers in Washington,” said NYGOP Chairman Langworthy. “He has the experience, the character and the backbone to go to Washington and deliver results. Our country is finally winning again, with a booming economy and peace through strength on the world stage. We cannot allow the radical Democrat socialists to bring their extreme policies to Long Island.”
Garbarino stated that he was both excited at the opportunity and thankful for the overwhelming support he has received from state, county and local Republican and Conservative party leaders. He also said that, having served in Albany for seven years, he wholeheartedly agreed with Chairman Langworthy’s assessment of the Democratic Party being out of touch with suburban areas like Long Island. “I know this district because I have lived and worked here my entire life. My family has been involved with the community and the founding of many small local businesses for over 80 years. As a local Main Street businessman, a parishioner of St. Lawrence Church in Sayville and a proud member of the Sayville Rotary Club, I know the hard-working people of this district. My interest in serving in Congress is to fight for their best interests.”
Chairman Langwothy concluded, “Peter King was not only a Congressman for the 2nd district, but a leader for all of New York and America. It is vital we keep this seat in Republicans hands and elect Andrew Garbarino to continue building on his legacy for the next generation.”
