Cox: Time for a house cleaning in Albany

ALBANY – NYGOP Chair Ed Cox released the following statement in response to a report that Albany County Airport Authority CEO Philip Calderone was in the ICU when Albany County Executive Dan McCoy engineered his ouster:

“The debacle at the Albany airport authority is a disgrace. Political party hacks – all Democrats – are responsible for this mess. County Executive Dan McCoy is revealed as a shallow, money-grabbing nonentity holding office because local and state Democrats let him get away with these actions.

“Kathy Hochul remains silent. State Senate candidate Pat Fahy hides and says nothing of substance. Time for a house cleaning in Albany County.”
