NYGOP LAUNCHES STATEWIDE AD CAMPAIGN TO JEWISH NEW YORKERS: “YOU HAVE A HOME WITH US”

ALBANY — The New York State Republican Party today announced a statewide print and digital advertising campaign directly appealing to Jewish New Yorkers who feel increasingly unwelcome in a Democratic Party embracing anti-Semitism. The campaign features an open letter from NYGOP Chair Ed Cox and will run in markets around the state with significant Jewish populations.

The ad follows Zohran Mamdani’s description of AIPAC and its members as “monsters,” one of the most explicit displays of antisemitism from a major New York political figure in recent memory, and the primary victory of Darializa Avila Chevalier, who attended a pro-Hamas rally on October 8, 2023, a day after the worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust.

“Zohran Mamdani has previously called for ‘globalizing the Intifada,’ which in practice means attacking Jews wherever they are found,” said NYGOP Chair Ed Cox. “More recently, he told us exactly what he thinks of Jewish and other Americans who support the US-Israel relationship: that they’re ‘monsters.’

“Kathy Hochul and Hakeem Jeffries have endorsed his hate while Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand cower in silence. Jewish New Yorkers deserve political representation that prioritizes their right to live in safety.”

The campaign features an open letter from Chairman Cox declaring that “the New York State Republican Party stands with you. Unequivocally.” The letter recognizes that Jewish scripture and tradition are foundational to America’s constitutional order, invoking the Founders’ study of the Hebrew Bible.

“Zohran Mamdani and his modern-day Brownshirts represents a new and radical faction of the Democratic Party: DSA activists who have made hostility not only to Israel but also to everyday Jewish Americans a litmus test,” Cox continued. “Republicans are stating, clearly: you have a home with us.”

The ad features a QR code that directs readers to a page where they can change their party affiliation. The landing page and Chairman Cox’s letter can be viewed here
