“For his entire political career and for more than 30 years as Chairman of New York’s Conservative Party, Mike Long has served as an indefatigable champion of conservative principles. A true Marine, Mike Long’s determination, grit and integrity served as a guiding light for a generation of conservative, and indeed many other, New Yorkers. I am proud to have served alongside him and count him as a trusted mentor and loyal friend.  In all matters his word was his bond. I wish him all the best in this new chapter of his life with Eileen, and I trust they will enjoy more time with their family and many grandchildren.”
