“Today’s hastily-called legislative session represents more of the same backroom deals & pre-ordained partisan outcomes with zero input from the taxpaying citizens of New York. Extending the eviction moratorium, particularly while the state is sitting on billions in relief funds that haven’t been distributed, is the height of incompetence and completely disregards the constitutional rights of property owners. Our state government continues to have the wrong priorities and is thus far proving to be just as broken under Kathy Hochul as it was under Andrew Cuomo. The only way to fix it is to break up Democrats’ one-Party monopoly.”
