“Our prayers are with the victims and families of last night’s horrific shooting in Atlanta. There is a deeply alarming spate of violence against Asian-Americans, particularly women and the elderly, that must be resoundingly condemned. Across the country and here in New York, Asian-Americans have been assaulted, and in some instances killed, through wanton acts of violence.  We stand in solidarity with the Asian-American community and call on all New Yorkers to join us in rejecting this hate.”
