“Kathy Hochul has some explaining to do. It’s been more than 24 hours since her handpicked Lieutenant Governor was arrested and charged in a bribery scheme involving the illegal use of taxpayer dollars and she has yet to hold a press conference addressing these serious charges. Doing a call-in radio interview with a left-wing host doesn’t cut it. In her comments, she tried to sweep it under the rug as a non-issue, when the reality is that she has consistently turned a blind eye to obvious corruption, first with Cuomo and then with her choice for Lieutenant Governor. She has demonstrated a stunning lack of judgment that is only exacerbated by her terrible handling of this major crisis rocking her administration. Come out of hiding, Kathy, and account for your actions.”
