Statement from NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy on Today’s News Reports Revealing Senior Cuomo Officials Rewrote Nursing Home Report to Hide Higher Death Toll

“Andrew Cuomo and his cadre of henchmen are a clear and present danger to New Yorkers. Their brazen corruption has cost the lives of 15,000 seniors, and while they should eventually face criminal liability for their actions, Cuomo must immediately face impeachment.

“But instead of removing this dangerous narcissist from public office, Democrats are gearing up today to vote on a dirty deal that actually extends his emergency powers indefinitely. Anyone who votes for this is complicit in his corruption and abuse.

“It is also deeply concerning that Attorney General James’ nursing home report failed to uncover this information and calls into question her ability to conduct a thorough investigation into this administration.”
