Statement from NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy on the Judge’s Ruling Against Democrats’ Gerrymandered Maps

“The Court’s decision is a complete validation of what we have been saying all along —Democrats are attempting to cheat and rig elections. The judge’s ruling is an unequivocal and full-throated rebuke of New York Democrats’ brazenly illegal and unconstitutional power grab. Kathy Hochul, who admitted her goal was to gerrymander seats to rubberstamp Joe Biden’s disastrous agenda, has the same craven disrespect for the law as her former partner, Andrew Cuomo. They got caught violating the constitution and undermining the will of the people–they must get to work immediately to comply with the judge’s ruling and fix the maps.”
