“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Henry Wells, a devoted family man, respected member of his community, and a proud patriot. Henry’s life was one of service – to his family, his country and the values we hold dear. His distinguished military service in the U.S. Air Force exemplified his bravery and commitment to protecting our freedoms.

“Our hearts are especially with his son, Steven Wells, the Treasurer of the New York Republican State Committee, and the entire Wells family during this difficult time. The NYGOP family offers our full support and prayers as they mourn the loss of a beloved brother, father and grandfather.

“May Henry’s memory be a blessing and an enduring inspiration of duty, honor, and love of country.”
