“Tricia and I are praying for President Trump and deeply thankful that he is safe after a second attempt on his life in as many months.

“Democrats and the media must tone down the over-the-top rhetoric that has led to acts of political violence in our recent history, from attacks on Jewish students, to attacks on law enforcement officers, and now to another attack on the former President and Republican nominee.”
