KEVIN BYRNE
Assemblyman, 94th District
Kevin Byrne was elected to serve the constituents of the 94th Assembly District on November 8, 2016. His district includes parts of Putnam and Westchester counties.
Kevin is dedicated to restoring ethics and integrity in Albany, reducing the tax burden facing hardworking taxpayers, bringing good jobs back to New York and supporting first responders and law enforcement. He supports the repeal of the SAFE Act and will fight to protect the rights of law-abiding gun owners.
Kevin began his career in public service as intern for Congresswoman Sue Kelly. He continued his passion for public service as Deputy District Director for Congresswoman Nan Hayworth. In 2013, Kevin joined the American Heart Association as regional director, where he has helped individuals and families suffering from cardiovascular disease.
Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton, and later graduated from Marist College with an MPA in Health Care Administration.
He also is dedicated to serving his community, having volunteered as an assistant scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts and as a member of the Putnam Valley planning board. Kevin is an active EMT/firefighter for the Kent Volunteer Fire Department and served the role of president for three years.
Kevin and his wife, Briana, graduates of Carmel High School, reside in Mahopac with their rescued coonhound, Tracker.
