ALBANY – The New York Republican State Committee released the following statement in response to a new poll showing that just 51% of Democrats want to reelect Kathy Hochul:

“Even Democrats are fed up with Kathy Hochul. When only half of your own party wants you back, it’s a flashing red light that your leadership is sinking the state. From rising crime and unaffordable living costs to corruption and chaos in Albany, New Yorkers across the political spectrum know we can do better.

“Republicans are energized, united and building a winning coalition to take back the Governor’s Mansion in 2026, stop our nation-leading outmigration and save New York from the disaster of one-party Democrat rule.”
