ALBANY — The NYGOP today released the following statement after the nonpartisan Jewish federations of Ulster and Dutchess Counties wrote an open letter to Rep. Pat Ryan following his vote to block aid to Israel, calling him out for betraying Jewish constituents in favor of appeasing DSA radicals:

“Pat Ryan turned his back on his Jewish constituents with his vote last week. In spite of his tough-guy image, Ryan has proven himself a coward by reversing his stand on Israel. Just as Kathy Hochul bent the knee to Zohran Mamdani, Ryan is afraid of the radical voices in his party, who support Hamas and Hezbollah and want to eliminate Israel as a Jewish nation. The veil is lifted and Ryan’s constituents can see him for what he is: a coward.”
