NYGOP Launches Statewide “Stop the Madness” Tour Targeting Congressional Democrats
“We will hold them accountable for putting the radical left over their constituents in this endless impeachment sham”
Staten Island, NY–October 7th…In conjunction with Trump Victory, New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy today kicked off a statewide anti-impeachment “Stop the Madness” tour in front of Rep. Max Rose’s district office on Staten Island.
Chairman Langworthy will travel across New York State to districts that President Trump won in 2016 to target congressional Democrats and rally voters opposed to impeachment. He will make stops in NY-18, NY-19, NY-22 and NY-27.
“Max Rose completely flip-flopped on his position, saying impeachment was bad for the country, yet the moment he was threatened with a primary from an AOC-wannabe, he caved like a cheap suit and sold out his constituents,” said NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy. “We are putting Max Rose and the rest of his congressional comrades on notice that we are organized and ready to harness the support for President Trump to send them packing next November.”
“Plain and simple: Max Rose lied to his constituents,” said Conservative Party Chairman Jerry Kassar. “He got swept up in the midterm wave by selling the people of the 11th congressional district a false bill of goods, but now that they know the truth about him, he will be swept out of office in 2020 with President Trump at the top of the ticket.”
Staten Island Republican Chairman Brendan Lantry said, “In 2018 Max Rose talked about changing the way things are done in Washington. Instead of changing Washington, Washington changed Max.”
The counter-impeachment events are part of a nationwide effort. Recently, the RNC debuted a new website, StopTheMadness.gop,
which operates as a one-stop clearing house to defend the president– including opportunities for people to sign up as a volunteer, details on how to show up to a counter protest, and more. A $2 million TV and digital buy is also part of the nationwide push against 60+ vulnerable Democrats who campaigned on reaching across the aisle to work with President Trump – including targeting Rep. Max Rose’s
