NYGOP: Hochul, Dems Drive Corning to Build in Texas and North Carolina

ALBANY — The NYGOP released the following statement following the announcement of Corning’s partnership with Nvidia to build three new advanced manufacturing plants in Texas and North Carolina, creating at least 3,000 new jobs in those states:

“One of New York’s great companies has sadly but understandably made the decision to expand into more business-friendly states than New York.

“Over 3,000 families in Texas and North Carolina will be looking forward to taking part in the massive economic growth that this partnership will drive, while Kathy Hochul’s New York is again on the outside looking in.

“Under one-party Democrat rule, Kathy Hochul’s New York leads the nation in outmigration as the most taxed, least affordable, least business-friendly state. If Democrats took a break from trying to rig our elections, they might notice that their policies continue to drive productive businesses and jobs out of our state.”
