NYGOP CHAIRMAN LANGWORTHY CALLS ON
MAX ROSE, ANTONIO DELGADO & ANTHONY BRINDISI TO RETURN SHIFTY SCHIFF’S DONATIONS
Schiff’s Financial Support for Marginal Members Who Switched on Impeachment is the Real Quid Pro Quo
New York–November 13th…New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy today blasted Congressmen Max Rose, Antonio Delgado and Anthony Brindisi for accepting thousands of dollars in political donations from the leader of the impeachment movement, then later switching their positions as the real quid pro quo. Chairman Langworthy called on them to immediately return the donations.
House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, who is leading the impeachment inquiry, donated $6,000 to New York’s most vulnerable Democrat members, all of whom were against impeachment before receiving the money. Delgado switched his position the very next day after receiving Schiff’s donation.
“Adam Schiff set out to buy votes for his impeachment witch hunt and Max Rose, Antonio Delgado and Anthony Brindisi were willingly for sale,” said NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy. “Taking money from the leader of the impeachment movement and then giving him your vote is the definition of a quid pro quo. This is a major conflict of interest and if they are going to try to maintain even a shred of credibility with their constituents, they need to return this money immediately.”
