NATIONAL FEDERATION OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN ELECTS NEW YORK REPUBLICAN LEADER NATIONAL PRESIDENT
Nassau’s Ann Schockett to Lead Largest Republican Women’s Group in Nation
Albany, NY–September 29th…New Yorker Ann Schockett has been unanimously elected President of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), the NYGOP today announced. Ms. Schockett was nominated and elected by delegates to the NFRW 40th biennial convention yesterday. Her term will begin January 1st.
Ann Schockett, of Woodmere, is an award-winning businesswoman who brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served in various leadership capacities within the NFRW, including as President of the New York Chapter. She earned the distinction of being the youngest person to be elected Republican State Committeeperson in New York’s history. She has received multiple awards for her work on behalf of the Party, including “Executive GOP Leader of the Year” and “Republican Woman of the Year.”
