Binghamton, NY – Millionaire lawyer & DC resident Josh Riley today sunk his second campaign for Congress by accepting endorsements from downstate Democrats:
NYGOP Chair Ed Cox said, “Josh Riley’s campaign is dead on arrival. It was going to be hard enough for Josh to convince voters to trust someone who lives in Washington, DC. Now that he’s accepted endorsements from downstate NYC Democrats — he doesn’t have a prayer.”
Republican County Committee Chairs in Broome, Chenango, Columbia, Cortland, Delaware, Greene, Otsego, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins, and Ulster counties echoed Chairman Cox’s statement.
In a joint statement, the NY-19 Republican Chairs said, “New York City Democrats already have a loud enough voice in Congress. They want to add Josh Riley to their ranks because they know he’ll fight for the far-left instead of us. To get solutions to the inflation crisis, the crime crisis, and the migrant crisis we need more commonsense in Congress – not another rich lawyer like Josh Riley.”
Dave Catalfamo, advisor to the Molinaro campaign said, “There’s nothing more unpopular in Upstate New York than downstate Democrats telling us who to vote for. Thanks, but no thanks.”
