Cox responds to American University anti-Semitism complaint

Stefanik, Republicans leading the fight against campus anti-Semitism

ALBANY – NYGOP Chair Ed Cox released the following statement in response to a federal complaint over American University’s “persistent” anti-Semitism, which included harassing Jewish students with “Hitler was right” graffiti:

“America’s institutions of higher education, long plagued by left-wing bias, are now experiencing a moral rot that society can no longer ignore.

“This persistent and pervasive anti-Semitism was brought into the national spotlight by House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik. Under her leadership, campus anti-Semitism will be relegated to the ash heap of history.

“Democrats remain largely silent about blatant, unapologetic anti-Semitism in their ranks. New York Republicans call upon Democrats to join us in rooting our campus antisemitism wherever it exists.”
