ALBANY — NYGOP Chair Ed Cox released the following statement in response to report that New York under Attorney General Letitia James ranks dead last – 51st – in indictments and convictions for Medicaid fraud:

“Attorney General Letitia James has spent years chasing cable news headlines and pursuing partisan political vendettas while neglecting one of her office’s most basic responsibilities: protecting New York taxpayers from fraud and abuse. This damning report represents a staggering failure, demonstrating yet again that James is unfit for office.

“Saritha Komatireddy will restore professionalism, accountability, and integrity to the office while making the fight against Medicaid fraud and public corruption a top priority.”
