ALBANY – NYGOP Chair Ed Cox released the following statement after Kathy Hochul skipped an official stop in the North Country after learning that protesters were there to greet her, including corrections officers who she recently fired:

“With her tail between her legs, Cowardly Kathy Hochul ran from voters and from the real consequences of her policies. The very correction officers she sacked are now among those protesting her, and she dares not show her face.

“She may hide from angry crowds now, but she can’t hide from her record. Next year, the Worst Governor in America will be out of a job.”
