Steven M. Wells, a Central New Yok businessman and civic leader, is Treasurer of the New York Republican State Committee.
A native of Syracuse, currently resides Cazenovia with his wife and children. He is a graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and Vanderbilt University School of Law.
Mr. Wells practiced law in Texas and served as an Assistant District Attorney in Tarrant County Texas. He returned to New York State in 1996 to join his family in establishing the American Food and Vending Corp. His leadership has helped create one of the largest privately held on- site foodservices companies in the United States.
Mr. Wells has long been involved in community service. He is a Trustee of Cazenovia College and serves on the Boards of The Century Club of Syracuse, the Friends of Cazenovia Lake Association and the Safe Haven Holocaust Refugee Center Museum.
Mr. Wells is a national leader of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and an active member of the Young Presidents Organization. He serves as the Central New Regional Chair of the NYGOP Finance Committee.
