NYGOP CHAIRMAN LANGWORTHY CALLS ON

MAX ROSE, ANTONIO DELGADO & ANTHONY BRINDISI TO RETURN SHIFTY SCHIFF’S DONATIONS

Schiff’s Financial Support for Marginal Members Who Switched on Impeachment is the Real Quid Pro Quo

New York–November 13th…New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy today blasted Congressmen Max Rose, Antonio Delgado and Anthony Brindisi for accepting thousands of dollars in political donations from the leader of the impeachment movement, then later switching their positions as the real quid pro quo. Chairman Langworthy called on them to immediately return the donations.
House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, who is leading the impeachment inquiry, donated $6,000 to New York’s most vulnerable Democrat members, all of whom were against impeachment before receiving the money. Delgado switched his position the very next day after receiving Schiff’s donation.
“Adam Schiff set out to buy votes for his impeachment witch hunt and Max Rose, Antonio Delgado and Anthony Brindisi were willingly for sale,” said NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy. “Taking money from the leader of the impeachment movement and then giving him your vote is the definition of a quid pro quo. This is a major conflict of interest and if they are going to try to maintain even a shred of credibility with their constituents, they need to return this money immediately.”

Congressman Pete King’s Retirement Announcement

November 11, 2019 … “The United States is a safer and stronger country thanks to the service of Congressman Peter King. His unmatched expertise in homeland security and counter-terrorism has been invaluable to New York and our entire nation. He always fought proudly and without equivocation for New Yorkers, leading and winning many important battles in Congress. We will be forever grateful for his tremendous advocacy on behalf of our first responders, not only in the aftermath of 9/11, but throughout his 28 years in Congress.
“It’s impossible to underestimate the void that his departure will leave in the People’s House, but we thank him for his lifetime of service to our country, our state and our Republican Party. We have every confidence we will retain this seat and continue the strong representation that Long Islanders deserve.”

November 1, 2019… “Andrew Cuomo is the captain of the Titanic steering New York smack into economic demise. It’s a national embarrassment that his disastrous policies have caused President Trump to join the more than a million other New Yorkers who have fled the state under his governorship. It’s no wonder only 34% of New Yorkers approve of his job performance–he should be asking President Trump for economic lessons, not making false and illegal pot shot statements about his taxes.”

New York Democrats Give Another Win to Criminals With Legislation to Give Inmates Voting Rights

Albany, NY–October 31st…The Nationals clinched the World Series Championship last night, but it’s New York’s criminals who are really celebrating with a radical new bill that would allow inmates serving prison sentences the right to vote.
Liberal Senator Kevin Parker, who has had his own run-ins with the law, has proposed an outrageous new bill that would give inmates serving their prison sentence the right to vote. Governor Cuomo and Albany Democrats have passed a series of measures giving more rights to criminals, while handcuffing police and prosecutors, including parole for cop-killers, cashless bail and restoring voting rights for felons. This bill goes even further to provide voting rights while convicted criminals are incarcerated.
“The Democrat Party is consumed with catering to criminals instead of law-abiding taxpayers,” fumed New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy. “They are systematically eroding our system of justice in favor of criminals’ rights, while the rights of crime victims and law-abiding citizens are completely disregarded.”
Chairman Langworthy concluded, “There are no victimless crimes and convicted criminals serving in prison broke our societal contract. This relentless push to make their life easier, give them more rights and weaken deterrence measures is pure insanity that puts our public safety at risk. New Yorkers are rightly outraged by the radical leftward lurch of the state under Democrat rule.”
Here is a list of Democrat measures that favor criminals:
  • Bill to automatically grant eligibility for Parole at 55 years old;
  • Eliminated risk assessment that cannot factor whether defendant is a danger to public safety when weighing pre-trial release;
  • Discovery Reform: handcuffs prosecutors, gives more rights to defendants;
  • Requiring release and Desk Appearance tickets for all but a handful of violent crimes,  including: second-degree burglary, second-degree robbery, fourth-degree arson, first- or second-degree unlawful imprisonment, drug trafficking, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and witness tampering and intimidation;
  • Restored voting rights to 36,000 felons;
  • Parole board appointed by Cuomo habitually springs free cop-killers;
  • Free college for inmates;
  • Free personal tablets for inmates;
  • A bill to increased minimum wage for prisoners;
  • A bill allowing convicted felons to serve on juries;
  • And, this bill that allows inmates to vote in prison and prison voter registration drives.
Chairman Langworthy concluded, “There are no victimless crimes and convicted criminals broke our societal contract. This relentless push to make their life easier, weaken deterrence measures and handcuff law enforcement is pure insanity that puts our public safety at risk. New Yorkers are rightly outraged by the radical leftward lurch of the state under Democrat rule.”

October 31, 2019… “It may be Halloween, but it’s clear Anthony Brindisi has been tricking voters on his impeachment plans for nearly two years. By joining this baseless impeachment charade to try and remove President Trump from office, Anthony Brindisi, Max Rose, Antonio Delgado and Sean Patrick Maloney have become enemies of democracy. They duped their constituents, broke their word and put politics over country–it won’t be forgotten.”

NYGOP Launches Statewide “Stop the Madness” Tour Targeting Congressional Democrats

“We will hold them accountable for putting the radical left over their constituents in this endless impeachment sham”

Staten Island, NY–October 7th…In conjunction with Trump Victory, New York Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy today kicked off a statewide anti-impeachment “Stop the Madness” tour in front of Rep. Max Rose’s district office on Staten Island.
Chairman Langworthy will travel across New York State to districts that President Trump won in 2016 to target congressional Democrats and rally voters opposed to impeachment. He will make stops in NY-18, NY-19, NY-22 and NY-27.
“Max Rose completely flip-flopped on his position, saying impeachment was bad for the country, yet the moment he was threatened with a primary from an AOC-wannabe, he caved like a cheap suit and sold out his constituents,” said NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy. “We are putting Max Rose and the rest of his congressional comrades on notice that we are organized and ready to harness the support for President Trump to send them packing next November.”
“Plain and simple: Max Rose lied to his constituents,” said Conservative Party Chairman Jerry Kassar. “He got swept up in the midterm wave by selling the people of the 11th congressional district a false bill of goods, but now that they know the truth about him, he will be swept out of office in 2020 with President Trump at the top of the ticket.”
Staten Island Republican Chairman Brendan Lantry said, “In 2018 Max Rose talked about changing the way things are done in Washington. Instead of changing Washington, Washington changed Max.”
The counter-impeachment events are part of a nationwide effort. Recently, the RNC debuted a new website, StopTheMadness.gopwhich operates as a one-stop clearing house to defend the president– including opportunities for people to sign up as a volunteer, details on how to show up to a counter protest, and more. A $2 million TV and digital buy is also part of the nationwide push against 60+ vulnerable Democrats who campaigned on reaching across the aisle to work with President Trump – including targeting Rep. Max Rose’s district.

Statement from NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy on Cuomo’s Medicaid Corruption Scandal Revealed in Today’s New York Times

October 3, 2019… “Andrew Cuomo has been exposed in yet another stunningly corrupt pay-to-play scandal that traded $140 million in state funds in exchange for more than $1 million in campaign contributions. Cuomo has consistently evaded prosecution for his crimes, only emboldening him to continue them. Enough is enough–we are calling on the U.S. Attorney to formally investigate this matter on behalf of the aggrieved taxpayers of New York State. Quid Pro Cuomo must be stopped, and the only way to restore integrity to the governor’s office is if he is held accountable by the law.”

Statement from NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy Calling on Senator Biaggi
to Apologize for her Disrespectful Comments Toward Rural America

September 30, 2019… Chairman Langworthy issued the following response to Senator Biaggi’s tweets on rural Americans who voted for President Trump.
“The elitist and dismissive comments made by Senator Biaggi toward rural Americans–millions of whom are residents of the state she is supposed to represent–are sadly representative of today’s entire Democratic Party. The sentiment that anyone who does not subscribe to an urban, leftist agenda doesn’t deserve a voice is eerily reminiscent of Cuomo’s ‘conservatives have no place in New York’ comment. I invite Senator Biaggi to leave the Bronx and come Upstate so she can see how many good, hardworking New Yorkers are struggling under her narrow world view. She owes them an apology.”

September 24, 2019… “By joining the impeachment mob, Antonio Delgado and Sean Patrick Maloney just abandoned their constituents in favor of AOC and the Squad. The radical left’s endless obsession with trying to take out President Trump and derail his agenda will be rejected by the voters who want their representatives to focus on making their lives better, not their own power. This reckless decision will rightfully go down as the one that cost them their seats.”
