Jim has 15 years of political and governmental experience. Before his appointment as Political Director, he served as the RNC Victory Director for New York State, helping our Congressional delegation pick up three additional seats. Jim ran the field operation, from petitions to Get Out The Vote for the targeted congressional races. Under his leadership, the Victory operation made over 86,000 door knocks and over 980,000 phone calls. After a very successful 2014 election cycle, Jim was deployed to Louisiana to work for Senator Bill Cassidy in the December run-off election. Senator Cassidy was a double digit winner with Jim having a regional leadership role assisting with the absentee and early vote push that Senator Cassidy won overwhelmingly.
Before his stint with the New York State Republican Party and the RNC he worked as a Chief of Staff to Senator McDonald. He ran his campaign in 2012; the campaign had a budget of a million dollars and was the most expensive State Senate primary campaign in the state.
Since 2000, Jim has volunteered for every Presidential candidate, usually making an annual trek to work the New Hampshire primary. In 2012, he volunteered on behalf of the Romney campaign. In 2008, Jim was deployed on behalf of New York’s own Rudy Giuliani.
As an Assembly staffer in 2004, he was a driver for the Republican National Convention in New York City.
Jim and his wife Angela live in Fort Edward, NY with their four children Ian, Molly, Duke and Tabitha. Jim currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Director’s for the Northeastern New York March of Dimes and as Board member for the March of Dimes state chapter.
